Frederick Ndabaramiye and Zacharie Dusingizimana founded the Ubumwe Community Center in Gisenyi, Rwanda as a place where people with disabilities can learn skills that allow them to build a sustainable life.
Ubumwe translates to “unity or togetherness”. At the Ubumwe Community Center, we strive to help people with disabilities find their abilities.
Over the last decade, the Ubumwe Community Center has been able to help children and adults work toward a positive future. These are true stories of inspiration.
